Does it seem like most of the exercise tips you read about are for people that have all the time in the world? Are you a busy person but a person that still would like to make a healthy change in your life? If so you’ve come to the right place. I understand that most people have a 9-5 job. Most people don’t live in a fantasy world where they can eat healthy and workout all day long.
The first you thing you need to do is to get organized. If you’re a busy person organization is very important to achieving your goals. Every Monday morning I write down exactly what food I am going to need throughout the rest of the week. I then go buy the food right away. When I get home if I have time I’ll even prepare a few of the meals and put them in the freezer. That way you won’t have to worry about it later.
This takes care of the healthy eating part. Now you may be confused as to what type of food to buy or how often to eat. I recommend you eat at least 5-small meals each day. The reason why you’re supposed to eat a lot is to keep your metabolism burning calories at a high rate of speed. Remember that you don’t have to eat 5 gourmet style meals. In the morning for breakfast I eat eggs and wheat toast with orange juice. Then I eat a small snack that entails yogurt and a banana.
If you have time at night you can could a nice dinner but make sure your portions remains small. The next thing I do is plan out when I can actually exercise. Exercise doesn’t mean you have to get on a treadmill and run. You can pick an activity like basketball or bike riding and do that for 30 minutes for 3-4 times per week. Remember to stay active by doing chores around the house. You’ll be surprised how much weight you lose just by doing this.
