However, at age fifty, I finally got it down. Now I’m going to tell you how to become a natural weight loss success story too. Sorry, no Hollywood Cookie Diets allowed.

First I share what you need to do, then I share the most important part: How to permanently lose weight.

Step: 1 Get honest. You must honestly see the habits you need to fix. If you refuse to recognize them, you can’t fix them. I know this sounds simple, but you’d be amazed at how many of us mess up our futures by refusing to take an honest look at what we do every day when it comes to the care of our precious health.

Step 2: Don’t eat man made foods. You never put anything in a car you’re going to get rid of someday besides gas because you know you’d ruin it. Then why would you put things in your ONE AND ONLY body it was never designed to run right on?

Step 3: Get moving. What’s the number one factor in longevity? Aerobic capacity. Your heart and lungs must be challenged. The same goes for your skeletal muscles. Your body ages much faster without use. You will rust out long before you will wear out.

Step 4: Take some kind of positive action. You have to get started doing something, anything right NOW. It doesn’t matter what it is. A little something is always better than nothing. Nothing is your greatest enemy in the world. Nothing will take away everything, faster than anything.

Action is the true key. Taking action will reveal where you need to review things. It takes one main step to have a personal weight loss success story: Changing unhealthy habits over to healthy ones. Do this. Nothing else works. This is why diet products don’t work and never will: Even if they are for “real” they don’t help you change your habits permanently. They are doing the dieting work for you.

Don’t make this more complicated than necessary. To succeed, simply eat right and get active. I repeat, it all about changing the unhealthy habits that make you gain weight over to healthy habits that are PROVEN to make you lose it.

There’s a vast array of stretching routines that target your back and neck, most of them simple and effective. These basic techniques are perfect for those who are new to stretching.

Basic Back Stretch

A highly beneficial stretch for your spine is the basic back stretch. Here’s what you do: Standing upright, contract your abs as you bend forward at the hips, lowering your hands to the floor. Then rest your head down and push with your fingertips while you feel the stretch in your back. Hold the position for 30 seconds (build up to this amount of time if you find it difficult at the beginning).

Wide Back and Shoulder Stretch

This move follows right after the basic back stretch. With your hands remaining on the floor, set your feet wide apart and position your arms inside your legs. Lift your hands off the floor and wrap your arms around the back of the calves, then grasp your ankles. Gently pull with your hands, which will open up your shoulders and stretch your upper back. Hold this position for up to 30 seconds.

The Shoulder Roll

The shoulder roll is a very easy stretch. Sit or stand comfortably, then rotate your shoulders up, back, down and forward, in that order. Start with a small circular movement, then gradually increase it to a larger circle. Do 10 circles in the backwards direction, then reverse direction and do 10 repetitions going forward.

If you’re one of those people that just eats everything that is put in front of them and then some, this may be of interest to you. The second health supplement is a whey protein shake which I started taking a little while back. Not only does it taste fantastic (try it yourself and see), it is full of good protein. It’s also easy and very convenient to drink, in the morning and at lunch time. And guess what, the shake also provides you with a full 30 grams of protein which is good for healthy muscles.

The thing about new-age health supplements is that they’re really geared to give you all the good stuff and keep out the bad. So things like salt, sugar, cholesterol and saturated fat to name a few, which we already get too much of, aren’t in them.
